Love transcends death. I have always believed in that and now it has become the cornerstone of the Ghost Whisperer TV Show as well. Last season the series stepped into hitherto unknown territory when the creators introduced a completely unexpected twist in the form of Melinda and Jim/Sam affair. The upcoming season which is scheduled to premier on September 25 on CBS will be set five years into the future and promises to intrigue us with darker, deeper and supernatural happenings.
I won’t spill much keeping the secret intact for you to unravel yourself as you watch Ghost Whisperer season 5 but it certainly won’t hurt to discuss what should we expect from this coming season. As Melinda eloped with Jim/Sam last season so obviously this season will be about their new life together. We will see how they cope with changes since their “special child” has taken birth.

Usually bringing in a baby is not a good idea as it almost always ruins a show. But I somehow have complete faith in the creative abilities of Hewitt and writers of Ghost Whisperer. I am sure when it comes to this show the presence of baby will open new vistas. With their special baby in their lives, Jim/Sam and Melinda are sure to take parenting very seriously.
The baby is gifted with special abilities to see and sense what is beyond his mother, Melinda. This will open the doors of a whole new plane of existence that we were not even aware of. This includes a dimension that is inhabited by beings that are very good and very bad and some of them want to remain hidden and not seen at all. Eeeks…it creeps me out completely.
